Poker fun, UPS suckage
Friend of mine and I went to a local
pub the other day, and entered their little poker tournament... Was
fun, but a little disorganized... Came in 2nd in the first game, so
they gave me a hockey cap and a t-shirt, lol...
Ordered a bare-bones system the other week, because my system's cpu kept overheating recently, and it was old, so I'm now up from a 1.2 ghz to a 3.0 ghz p4... Seems alot more stable even from an OS operating stand-point, atleast from my observations so far. But had some problems having it delivered, as UPS had come to my building and buzzed up, and I let them in, but they never came up with it. Instead I find out the next day they gave it to someone I had never even heard of. So I had to go through the hassle of contacting them about their mistake, but luckily a neighbour (that I did not know) got it to me, unopened (I made sure of this)... I'm certain there must be some policy about UPS delivering packages to people other than the recipient, especially strangers. I was not impressed. I will try to avoid UPS in all future transactions if at all possible.
